Hey, I'm Farhad Hossen

I work at the intersection of growth marketing, AI search, and the agentic web.

Currently, I’m Head of Marketing at Themefisher, a multi-brand web template company. I’m also the Product Manager behind Sitepins, a Git-based headless CMS. And I manage the r/astrojs developer community on Reddit.

What I actually think about

Search is changing faster than most marketers realize. AI agents are starting to browse, decide, and transact on behalf of humans. The funnel we’ve spent a decade optimizing is being rerouted around us.

I’ve spent the last few months studying what that means for growth: how brands get discovered by agents, how content gets cited by LLMs, how commerce flows when the buyer isn’t human anymore.

What I do

  • Growth Marketing. I build marketing systems for small businesses. I’ve done this across multiple brands, so I know how to move fast without losing coherence.
  • AI Search Optimization (AEO/GEO). I help brands show up in AI-generated answers, not just search rankings.
  • Agentic Commerce Optimization. I think about how products and brands position themselves for a world where AI agents make or influence buying decisions.

Background

I started with programming in 2020. I picked up a solid grounding in web fundamentals. That technical foundation changed how I think about marketing.

From there, I got pulled into digital marketing, specifically SEO. I joined Themefisher as an SEO intern. Over the following years I moved through roles: SEO Manager, Project Manager, Marketing and Product Manager. Now I lead the marketing team.

Along the way I got deep into the static site ecosystem. That’s still the space I know best.

I’ve been writing about the shift from human-browsed to agent-navigated web since early 2026. That thesis shapes everything I work on.

I post here when I have something worth saying. That includes takes on AI search, agentic web, growth experiments from my own work, and honest observations about where the web is going.
